免疫不全マウスモデル

免疫不全マウスとは、遺伝的変異や人工的手法によって免疫系の一部（B細胞、T細胞、NK細胞など）に欠陥や欠失を持つマウスを指します。遺伝子編集技術の発展に伴い、免疫不全マウスの系統がますます増加しています。免疫不全マウスモデルは、がん研究（腫瘍の成長、転移、抗腫瘍薬のスクリーニングなど）、免疫学（免疫細胞の発生メカニズムや免疫疾患の発生メカニズム）、疫学（ウイルスや細菌感染症の病因研究など）、幹細胞生物学（ヒト幹細胞移植など）およびその他の研究分野で広く使用されています。免疫不全が深刻なマウスでは、T細胞、B細胞、NK細胞が欠如しているため、ヒト造血幹細胞（HSCs）、ヒト末梢血単核細胞（PBMC）、患者由来の腫瘍細胞由来の異種移植（PDX）や他の成人幹細胞および組織を効率的に移植することができます。
