To accelerate our growth in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding Japan and Korea), we are seeking a passionate and talented Business Development Manager to lead sales and client acquisition efforts across this dynamic market.

Position: APAC Business Development Manager (Excluding Japan & Korea)
Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion & Sales Management

• Drive technical service delivery and product sales for Cyagen across the APAC region (excluding Japan and Korea), executing and achieving company sales targets.

• Develop and refine sales strategies to continuously increase revenue, expand market share, and fuel business growth in the region.

Client Relationship Management

• Maintain strong communication with clients to deeply understand their needs, delivering proactive, enthusiastic, and high-quality service to build long-term, stable partnerships.

• Conduct regular client follow-ups, gather feedback, and promptly adjust services and products to meet evolving customer requirements.

Market Research & Analysis

• Proactively monitor market trends and competitor activities within the APAC region, collecting frontline marketing intelligence.

• Participate in market research, analysis, and strategic planning to support informed company decision-making.

• Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and market presence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives.

Project Management & Execution

• Support new product launches and conduct customer training to ensure clients fully understand and utilize our offerings.

• Complete other tasks assigned by the company and sales department to ensure efficient and timely delivery of objectives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related fields.

• Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience in the biotech or related industry; experience in the APAC market (excluding Japan and Korea) is highly preferred.

• Strong business development skills, excellent communication abilities, quick learner of new technologies, and strong analytical thinking.

• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in additional APAC languages is a plus.

• Willingness to travel frequently; strong cross-cultural communication skills and a collaborative team spirit are essential.
